The 41st Annual Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl was a sweet success at Boston's City Hall Plaza on June 4th-6th! Over 10,000 ice cream enthusiasts gathered to sample delectable treats from fan favorites like Ben & Jerry’s, Alec’s Ice Cream, and Tillamook, among others. This year's event not only brought unlimited joy and unlimited ice cream but also showcased live entertainment and engaging games for all ages.

One of FM Generator’s core values is to have fun together and that means getting involved in our community. Our team loves helping out at fundraising events that matter to us and the Scooper Bowl is one that we look forward to every year.

Raquel Morales, the Associate Director of Event Fundraising, said it best:

"We appreciate all the support you and FM Generator bring to Scoop each year. Your personal commitment to the Jimmy Fund is incredible. We truly value your team effort and how you jump in to help with anything and everything!"

We’re all about making a difference. And having a blast while doing it.

What made Scooper Bowl 2024 even more special?

  • More than 10k people attended the event, including 725 attendees at Thursday evening’s Scoop at Night
  • Groups of 30+ attend from elementary schools through colleges, community organizations, and local businesses
  • 5 new ice cream partners and 3 new beverage partners joined the team this year
  • Lots of inquiries and sign-ups for more information about opportunities to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber

Linda Henry, co-owner of the Red Sox, alongside manager Alex Cora and various team players joined us, adding a touch of star power to our scooping fun. Their support, along with that of the community and local businesses, helped in making this event remarkably memorable.

A big shoutout to Rob Salvaggio, our service sales manager, who has been pivotal in managing this event annually.

Why do you like attending?

“I enjoy attending because of such a great cause that it supports. Being a big ice cream lover, unlimited ice cream is an added bonus.”

Do you have any key takeaways from the event?

“This was one of the first big events we have done using shore power instead of generators. We proved that we are more than just a generator company. FM Generator is able to assist in a variety of ways. The networking performed at the event is also a great opportunity. The event attracts people of all ages and demographics.”

All proceeds from the event go towards supporting cancer care and research at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
