The 2023 Atlantic hurricane season is here. Are you prepared?

For the first time in seven years, NOAA is predicting a normal 2023 Atlantic Hurricane Season. “NOAA is forecasting a range of 12 to 17 total named storms (winds of 39 mph or higher). Of those, 5 to 9 could become hurricanes (winds of 74 mph or higher), including 1 to 4 major hurricanes (category 3, 4 or 5; with winds of 111 mph or higher). The best way to minimize the impact of a severe storm is to be prepared. 
  1. Keep Emergency Kits Stocked (Food & Water, Medicine, and Tools)
  2. Create a Disaster Plan
  3. Know Evacuation Zones and Plan
  4. Keep your Vehicle Fuel Tank Full
  5. Keep Generator Fuel Tank Full
  6. Complete any Service Due on your Generator
  7. Install Remote Monitoring for your Generator to track alerts from the safety of your home
